Generally, I think positively; however, I don’t avoid negative thoughts.
Optimism can motivate you to do something, but I would be more inclined to a constructive attitude. This means that you should approach many situations in life positively but… take difficulties into account and not be afraid to confront them.
I honestly support this tactic.
As a freelance copywriter, I regularly get customers to fill my monthly schedule. I have a few primary and regular customers, but I should look for additional tasks often.
Every time I realize that I have to acquire 5 new clients by the end of the month, it seems complicated, so I think negatively because I know that acquiring that number of customers will be difficult.
That’s natural to me and countless people from my environment.
The impact of negative thoughts in that case is significant.
It gives me fuel to be an optimist person.
At that moment, I can motivate myself to find new ways to get customers because otherwise, I won’t end my month successfully.
From my standpoint, all of us should have a kind of pessimistic personality to achieve success in a given field. At least at first – then we’ll become more motivated.
Isn’t truth?
