Friday the 13th. Most unlucky or the happiest day in the world?
It depends on your perception.
Personally, I have my own superstitions. I avoid sitting in the thirteenth seat during a football match and never choose “the thirteen.”
Obviously… if I can.
However, I’m not paranoid either.
And if you’d give me a strong argument about why thirteen is a lucky number… I’d consider changing my beliefs.
Because, at last, I think that’s the game.
A strong belief in fate is the game.
Many people say that our fate is sealed. I entirely agree with it.
If yes… why don’t we believe only in the good things?
Why worry when our days are numbered?
I said I avoid the thirteenth number, but if I can’t because it’s impossible to change it (e.g., during the school exam), I treat “the thirteen” as a lucky number.
And this has also proven itself many times.
What’s the conclusion?
We should be positive. Occasionally, we can play the game and predict our luck or misfortune, however…
Let’s not fall into paranoia and live.
Let’s not let some stupid number or superstition take away our joy from the day… or even a life.
