Have you ever heard it?
As a copywriter, I stumble upon it every week. The reason is straightforward – people say that AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper AI, etc. will replace me.
And I can tell you: AI would steal my customers if I didn’t stand out. But I’m better than my industry friends and competitors, so you can still see me on the surface.
How many copywriters GPT can replace?
For many copywriters, AI is a contrarian. They’ve been performing simple tasks for their whole business lives (like creating non-depth blog articles and dull product descriptions), and now… they don’t have well-paid jobs as copywriters.
For comparison, I’ve found my favorite niche (a marketing field) and written only for marketing agencies in my career.
Thanks to this, I had high-paying self-employment before the ChatGPT era (before 2022) and a lucrative position after the AI copywriting tools revolution.
What’s the secret?
Be better in your industry than your rivals, and stand out with unique and creative ideas.
This guarantees you’ll be a desirable employee when your industry contacts are dismissed.
Like me.
For instance, I use ChatGPT or Jasper AI and replace a few copywriters. My writing skills and abilities to adapt to current standards allow me to be better than others.
So, you cannot be like others. You should be a highly skilled person who stands out with something.
Why should we fear AI?
We should fear AI because robots can grab our jobs – in part or whole.
It depends on the industry, but you can have reasons to worry if you’re a taxi driver, IT specialist, copywriter, shop assistant, etc.
However, you can be confident about your job with solid management skills.
In that case, regardless of your role, you’ll be useful, e.g., in setting AI tools, managing company efficiency, and executing the results.
Only with AI help.
Why should we not fear AI?
AI is undoubtedly faster than us (10 times or more), so we can use robots to optimize our work and make our days more pleasant.
Exactly… if AI hadn’t replaced us in this job.
